If you want to get to know the younger side of Leipzig, visit the Kunstkraftwerk with its fantastic installations, the creative centre ‘Baumwollspinnerei’ or the ‘Grassi Museum of Applied Arts’, which was founded exactly 150 years ago. There is also a dense network of waterways: You can not only paddle through the city, but even to one of the many bathing lakes south of the city.
