The Albertina in Vienna is celebrating its 250th anniversary in 2026 with a special festive program – a real insider tip for culture lovers. 

A highlight is the anniversary exhibition “Collecting for the Future. 250 Years of the Albertina” (June 19 – October 11, 2026), which offers fascinating insights into the history of the collection. Particularly spectacular: Albrecht Dürer’s famous “Young Hare” from 1502 will be on display – a rare opportunity to see this iconic work in person.

In 2026, Vienna Design Week celebrates its 20th anniversary, once again demonstrating the many ways design shapes our world. From 25 September to 4 October, Vienna will become a true “City Full of Design”, hosting an exciting programme of events across the city.
