Yes. Dogs and small pets are allowed to travel on the Regio Express on the BLS Lötschberg mountain route. Small dogs up to 30 cm at the withers travel free of charge in a pet carrier. For larger dogs, you will need a ticket at half the 2nd-class fare or a dog day ticket. Dogs must be kept on a lead and are not permitted to sit on seats.

Yes. You can load your own bike onto the BLS Lötschberg mountain route. You will need a valid half-price bike ticket or a bike day ticket. Space for bikes in the low-floor carriages is limited; therefore, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to take your bike on board.

Many BLS stations are accessible. These include step-free platforms, accessible ticket machines and emergency call points, as well as visual and audible travel information. The historic Lötschberg mountain route is generally well suited for wheelchair users, as low-floor trains are used for the most part. It is recommended that you register with the SBB Contact Centre for People with Disabilities in Brig so that boarding assistance can be arranged if required.
